In the hustle of daily life, it's easy to forget to refuel our bodies. Making sure we're well-fed and hydrated is essential for optimal health, and the ability to power through our daily tasks and workouts. Labrada offers whey protein in two flavors that deliver on taste and on the nutrition front, too.

Created by food scientist Dannielle Palmer in 2014 and first released in the U.S. in 2015, Labrada Whey Protein Review comes in a 16-ounce canister and contains 30 grams of protein. The vanilla and chocolate flavors, both from the Labrada line, are available in two sizes and come in three flavors: Original (sugar-free), Chocolate-Hazelnut, and Chocolate-Chile. Both have a dairy-free and vegan-friendly label.

Using research from the University of Florida's department of sports and recreation, Palmer developed Labrada's line of whey protein that delivers optimal absorption and a combination of amino acids from the whey protein.

Palmer tested eight whey protein brands and found that Labrada offers the best taste, vitamin-C concentrations, and, of course, protein content. She then took these findings to the lab to isolate the "perfect blend of ingredients that deliver the nutrition you need"—ultra-filtered whey protein, glucomannan, chondroitin sulfate, and a blend of vitamins and minerals, all of which act as macronutrients for muscle building.

What makes Labrada whey protein a winner on taste and nutrition is its use of vanilla extract.
